Earth Hour 2011-Peknek @ KLCC Park

On Saturday, a bunch of friends and I managed to hold a small get together. We wanted to see the lights went out and picnic under the stars. However, the park was lit through and through. Only the Twin Tower went dark for that one hour.

Potluck style, this is what we have :)
I baked the brownies ;)

See how the tower changes in time....

I like this picture, I don't know why... :)
After the food did not quite settle yet we tried to play Taboo..but only after one round, we were chased away by the pak guard of KLCC park, saying that they need to shut the gate.
We have no choice but to flee the place. The rest went on to either Syikin's or Poova's place. I did not join because I have an early day today. All in all, we did not really see the earth hour effect, but I definitely had a good time :D

Its been a while...& I am screwed!!

I can't remember when was the last time I shared my insights in this blog. Have I lost touch to write stuffs? There has always been the case when I came across something, I thought of blogging about it, but when I finally sits in front of the screen, the thought just vaporised. Its not that I have many important things to tell the world, and its not like I have big shots reading this anyway, but just to keep my mind stimulates and express my opinion. Am I making sense?

On the second part of the title, I am screwed....why? My latest craze of watching sinetron may cause more time spending in front of the TV than I should. I have always been a couch potato, and I watch almost everything they have on TV. The latest sinetron that I am watching right now is Kemilau Cinta Kamila. I figured that since it was aired in Indon last year, the story might not be that long (compared to Cahaya's 232 episode..gila deh...) and it should be a quick series. Who knew that the series was such a hit, that within 2010 itself, it has been shooting and airing the second, third and fourth season. And now it is in the fifth season, I mean really???

You know how these series can haunt you. You'll loose sleep thinking what could happen next, yada...yada.... yes, that is my biggest problem now.
(while other people's problem might be avoiding Japanese food that may have been cotaminated by radiation, also how to help the disasters' victim)

So you see what I have to deal with right now? very insignificant indeed compared to the rest of the world.

Who cares what campaign is going on in Sarawak right now, my sinetron problem is much bigger that that!!
And do I care about some politician's video exposé? Nope, my biggest concern right now when will Kamila and Fadil realise their feeling for each other.

So much for insights huh? :P

Lethal Combination : Sedetik Lebih

KRU's brothers work + suara Anuar Zain yang meruntun hati + video klip yang artisitik + bait-bait lagu yang sanggaaaaaatttttt sweet. The whole thing was sold to me at the very first few seconds. I have soft spot for violin sounds. I used to think that piano makes a great sappy ballad, but I think violin just add the 'you break my heart' feeling even more.

*Apa ko merepek ni Jebat......?

*Entah....just check this out!!

Plus, Anuar Zain reminds me of somebody...huaaaa...lagi la sedih wei...

p/s: Thanks Adriza for sharing!!!

Happy 100th International Women's Day

It was this morning in the pantry, we walked in and greeted by president of cik kaks gang "Happy International Women's Day". And we continue to greet other women that came in next with the same gesture. It lights up my morning.

This year, I was not so lucky to be attending the yearly conference in KL but alas, I feel good just to be alive and kicking ;)

Did you know that today March 8th is the International Women's Day?
This year marks the 100th year that women start to stood up for their rights in some parts of the world. While in some parts till today still deny the womens' to the equal human rights as the XY fellow homo sapiens.

I just finished reading A Thousand Splendid Sun, but will not elaborate here, next entry probably. But it definitely touches me as women right from the first page.

In the mean time, enjoy the video that celebrate the endless struggle, come on ladies!!! :d

Some not so fun facts worth to share.

p/s: I wish I work in Madagascar, they declare this day as public holiday for women :D
