An Epic Journey part 10

Assalamualaikum w.b.t,
Its been ages since I've updated the epic journey, thousand apologies for that..

Last we stopped at ayat 10 which explains about the decision made by Yusuf’s brother to abandon him in the well instead of killing him. Any child that are lost will be hopefully found and if we stumbled upon one, what should we do. No doubt we live in a country that have rulings in such cases, but Islam being a complete religion, also have ways to deal with such things.
Said a speaker among them, "Do not kill Yusuf but throw him into the bottom of the well; some travelers will pick him up - if you would do [something]."
Islamic rulings related to finding a lost child.
Sunayn Abu Jamilah, a man from the tribe of Sulaym, said, “I found a lost boy. I took him to Umar Ibn al-Khattab (RA). He said that he was called Uayfah. I said, “O Commander of the Faithful, he is a pious man. ”. Umar said, “Is that so?.” He said, “Yes.” So Umar said, “Take him with you. He is free and his alliance will be with you while his maintenance will be upon us.” [Malik and al-Bayhaqi]

1.       Definition of a lost child in the Shariah
Somebody that is misplaced and the lineage is unknown.
2.       The ruling of taking in such a child
Ulama’ agrees that if it is known sure harm will happen to the child by not taking in the child in, then it is compulsory to take the child in.
3.       The ruling regarding valuables found with the lost child

…And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.
[Surah al-Maidah, 5:2]
  • If the valuables are found with him, the valuables are considered as the child’s money.
  • If the valuables are not on him, but near him, it’s considered as his wealth.
  • If the valuables are found not near him, it is not considered as his wealth, but a lost property.
4.       The verdict about the found child’s religion
Depends on the location’s religion where he is found.

5.       The ruling on the found child’s maintenance
The maintenance will be paid by :
The money that was found with the child
Or if the child do not have money, Baitulmal should be responsible of the child’s care.

6.       The ruling on who is most deserving to be considered the child’s handler
Who was first found the child and brought the child in

7.       The legislation in claiming a relationship to the found child
Qiayafah – in Arabic tribe, it is the ability to tell the physical conditions and associate with the people/tribe. The relationship can be claimed this way (the child belong to certain tribe).

8.       The authority of DNA within the Shariah.
If the baby is born after the 6 months of marriage and the father does not deny the lineage, the child can be attributed to the father, even if the DNA is contradictory.

I Like !! Doaku Yang Terbaik, Amin...

Assalamualaikum w.b.t (peace be unto you)

If you are looking for a beneficial post, move away now. :) I have just found out this news and I love it :) Kalian pasti tahu kan gi mana nge-fans nya aku sama Kemilau Cinta Kamilla. Ngefans banget kali..!! Sangkin sukanya, aku sampe langgan deh channel 141 & 142.

Pokoknya aku suka banget keduanya.

Walaupon aku ngefans banget, tapi aku ngak ngikutin perkembangan benaran, jadi agak ketinggalan gitu. Ternyata keduanya udah jadian benar sejak beberapa bulan yang lalu. Yah, walaupon beda kepercayaan, aku harap Jonas akan dibukakan pintu hidayah dari Allah SWT, dan kayanya dia serius deh sama Andah. Aku doain keduanya bakal bersatu di jinjang pelaminan. Moga bertambah satu lagi umat Islam, aku berharap banget. Amiinnn.....
